ScandTherm TCS is a protected direct chemi-thermal label, which is a woodfree paper with a coating of thermosensitive dyes which turn black when heated. There is a top coating which protects the label surface and thermally printed images from above, against contaminants such as moisture, oil, grease and plasticisers from films. ScandTherm TCS can be printed by water based and UV inks and varnishes designed for use with direct thermal papers. This thermal paper has a standard sensitivity making it suitable for print speeds up to 200-250mm per second depending on printer settings. It is recommended that customers assess both the pre-print and the overprint characteristics under end use conditions before proceeding to long runs.

ScandStick SSP E60 is a highly versatile permanent adhesive which will adhere to a wide variety of surfaces, both at room temperature and under chill conditions. SSP E60 has been designed to resist edge lift on narrow radius tubes and curved surfaces. SSP E60 has excellent conversion characteristics ensuring consistent waste stripping and label dispensing. It is also suitable for on-press delamination to allow printing on the adhesive surface or tack neutralisation. Although SSP E60 will tolerate some surface condensation, excessive amount of moisture present will reduce the adhesion.

Should any failure to conform to this warranty appear within one year after the initial date of shipment (unless otherwise stated), BEONTAG shall, upon notification thereof and substantiation that the products have been stored and applied in accordance with BEONTAG'S standards, correct such defects by suitable repair or replacement without charge at BEONTAG's plant or at the location of the products (at BEONTAG's election); provided, however, if BEONTAG determines that repair or replacement is not commercially practical, BEONTAG shall issue a credit in favor of BUYER in an amount not to exceed the purchase price of the products.
