Steadfast in its purpose to support printers and brand owners in creating high-quality labels, Beontag has demonstrated that the high technology of its production lines brings concrete results. Recently, the self-adhesive material COLACRIL® BOPP METALIZADO TC 50M / ADC210 / GL52M (a metallized film face stock with top coating and permanent acrylic adhesive) helped a company in the pet cosmetics segment, Solution Vet, to leverage the sales of one of its brands, Pet Seduction, with premium labels printed by Tiliform Indústria Gráfica.
The project was born to help the brand stand out in an environment of strong competition. The offering of pet products has been growing exponentially in Brazil for years. According to data from the Instituto Pet Brasil, in 2024 this market moved 77 billion Reais (a 12% growth compared to the previous year) numbers that place Brazil in third place in the ranking of countries that consume the most pet products, behind only the United States and China.
With the increase in the number of products available on shelves and the greater sophistication of this category in retail and specialty stores, brands have been facing a major challenge: in just a few seconds, they need to convince pet owners of the quality of their products, influencing the decision-making process.
The Challenge
In this context, it is the details that make the difference. In the case of labels, ensuring the quality of printed colors and images is a central starting point in the struggle for consumer preference. After all, it is of no use for the graphic design to be well-executed if the printing leaves something to be desired.
In the same way, it is necessary to ensure the integrity of the art throughout the entire life cycle of the product, maintaining good brand exposure not only on the shelves, but throughout the period of consumption. In the case of pet hygiene items (usually handled in humid environments) these precautions need to be redoubled.
Thus, Tiliform's choice for the self-adhesive material COLACRIL® BOPP METALIZADO TC 50M / ADC210 / GL52M, from Beontag, to print the Pet Seduction labels, proved to be the right move. With top coating on the face stock and the use of permanent acrylic adhesive, this substrate offers metallic shine, moisture resistance, and excellent anchoring for spot varnish printing (being ideal for applications that require durability and a sophisticated finish, such as the items they intended to highlight).
The Solution
The feature chosen by Solution Vet to differentiate its Pet Seduction products was to combine the shiny effect of Beontag's material with opaque areas on the labels, created with the application of spot matte varnish. As a result, the shampoos and polishing sprays gained a sophisticated look that attracted and enchanted pet owners, strengthening the brand's quality appeal at the points of sale.

Beontag's self-adhesive, besides providing sophisticated aesthetics, was fundamental in adding technical resistance to the structure, thanks to the top coating on the face stock, which improves the adhesion of inks and varnishes, and the permanent acrylic adhesive, which maintains perfect adhesion even in humid environments and with frequent handling (as occurs in pet shops and grooming salons, where Pet Seduction products are widely consumed).
