FSC ScandTherm NTC is a woodfree label paper coated with thermosensitive dyes which turn black when - heated. - Designed for non-hostile environments and low risk conditions where there is no requirement for surface - protection against contaminants or scuffing, ScandTherm NTC should be used only in relatively clean, dry - environments for short term labelling applications. - FSC ScandTherm NTC can be printed using water based and UV inks, designed for use with direct thermal - label papers, but it is not varnishable. - This thermal paper has a standard sensitivity making it suitable for print speeds up to 200-250mm per second - depending on printer settings, or to enable the thermal head temperatures to be reduced to improve the - longevity of the print head. - It is recommended that customers assess both the pre-print and the overprint characteristics under end use - conditions before proceeding to long runs.
This is a PiggyBack construction that has two release coated backing papers, two layers of adhesive and a face material which allows a label to be applied, complete with backing, for future or further application.

SSP713 has excellent initial tack and adhesion on a wide variety of substrates, including apolar, slightly rough and curved substrates. Particularly good adhesion to cardboard, plastic and glass. Note: Not advised for labelling highly plasticised materials, eg: flexible PVC

Food Packaging Applications: The adhesive raw materials are listed under European/US food packaging regulations (BgVV XIV or FDA 21 175.105) and are safe for use in limited contact with foodstuffs. Toy and Packaging Regulations: The materials used have been tested and comply with the current heavy metals regulations EN71-3 Safety of Toys and the UK Packaging (Essential Requirements) Regulations 1998.
