ScandSyn therm P is a top coated, smudgeproof, chemi-thermal PP-film. - ScandSyn therm P can be printed by water/solvent based, UV inks and varnishes. - This thermal product has a standard sensitivity making it suitable for print speeds up to 150mm per second - depending on printer settings. - It is recommended that customers assess both the pre-print and the overprint characteristics under end use - conditions before proceeding to long runs.
Face material has a slight tendency to discolour, but this does not affect the scannability of the barcodes.

ScandStick Permanent 50N has excellent initial tack with high bond strength at elevated, room and chilled temperatures, as well as in moist conditions. It has been formulated to adhere to a wide variety of substrates, including corrugated cardboard, low surface energy materials like polyethylene and non-polar surfaces. SSP 50N provides enhanced conversion characteristics, allowing die-cutting at higher speeds and is designed for both paper and synthetic face materials. Limitation: Not suitable for labelling plasticised PVC.

Food Packaging Applications: The adhesive raw materials are listed under European/US food packaging regulations (BgVV XIV or FDA 21 175.105) and are safe for use in limited contact with foodstuffs. Toy and Packaging Regulations: The materials used have been tested and comply with the current heavy metals regulations EN71-3 Safety of Toys and the UK Packaging (Essential Requirements) Regulations 1998.
